The construction of the Osmancık Weir and HEPP project in Amasya province began in 2011. The project situated on the Yeşilırmak River received provisional acceptance in February 2013 and was subsequently commissioned. Featuring two vertical Kaplan turbines with individual capacities of 4.70 MWm, the project boasts a total installed capacity of 9.40 MWm. Leveraging a project flow rate of 115 m³/sec and a gross head of 9.10 m, the project's annual generation capacity amounts to 31 GWh.
